Foam fenders use lightweight and highly elastic EVA foam as a cushioning medium, which is a better floating fender than inflatable pneumatic fenders. In recent years, a new type of spraying polyurethane (polyurea) technology has been invented to make the surface of the foam fender anti-corrosive and scratch-resistant, and it can adapt to various harsh weather environments. Excellent energy absorption performance, coupled with low reaction force, makes berthing operations easier-especially in difficult conditions.The foam marine fenders is very safe to use, and there is no risk of blasting. Even if the outer skin is damaged, it will not sink. It can still maintain basic functions until you can repair it.
Although the price is not as attractive as the pneumatic fender, but its service life is basically twice that of the inflatable fender. Foam fenders are very suitable for dock, especially dock with large tidal range, as well as for ship-to-ship(STS) operations and bridge pier protection.

Foam Fender Features
- Polyurea protection layer has the resistance of friction, extrusion, oil, sea water and acid & alkali. Maintainness free, do not need check or air inflation during use, and its lifetime can up to 10 -15 years;

Foam Fender Application
- For ships, offshore platforms, offshore facilities, marinas and yachts.

Foam Fender Structure

Middle layer: Outer rubber and high strength polyamide cord fabric are adopted to better seal the inner EVA foam;
Outer layer: Spraying with adjustable new polyurea elastic maerial, the polyurea coating is permanent and that protect the outer layer of fender from chemical corrosion resistance. It has more durability than rubber because it can reduce the chance of denting and scratches and will not get soften or fragile in hot or cold temperature;
Ends: Equipped with galvanized flange, swivel and can add a protective layer consist of chain and tire net;
Tyre net sheath: Receiving special treatment, the tyres all have the advantages of firmness, durability and a beautiful surface, which can extend the fender's service life. The structural form of the sheaths can be divided into chain & tyre net, rope & tyre net, wire & tyre net, chain & rubber hose net, etc, and all can be produced as per client's special request.
